Do you serve Miami, or only Miami Beach?

Both. We're based on South Beach, and we cover the whole coastal strip east of I-95: across the causeways into Edgewater, Downtown, Brickell, Coconut Grove, Coral Gables and Key Biscayne, and north through Surfside, Bal Harbour, Sunny Isles, Aventura and Hollywood to Fort Lauderdale. How fast can a plumber get to me?

During the day, most callback requests get a return call within a couple of hours, and we aim to reach urgent jobs the same day. True emergencies jump the line. That's what the 24-hour number is for.

What should I do while I wait for an emergency plumber?

Stop the water first. For a leaking fixture, close the small shutoff valve under the sink or behind the toilet. For a burst pipe or a leak you can't isolate, close the main: in a house it's usually at the meter box near the street or where the line enters the building; in a condo it's the unit shutoff, often in a closet or behind an access panel. If the water heater is leaking, turn off its power at the breaker or its gas valve. Keep water away from outlets and electrical panels, then call us.

Do you handle both residential and commercial plumbing?

Yes. From a condo bathroom or a single-family home to a restaurant's grease line or a commercial water heater, both are everyday work for us.

Do you work in condos and high-rises?

Yes. Condo units and building work are a big share of what we do on the Beach and in Brickell. When a repair needs a riser or building shutoff that affects neighbors, we coordinate with your management or association so the water is off for as short a time as possible.

What plumbing problems are most common in Miami Beach?

Mostly age and salt. Cast-iron drain and sewer lines in the older buildings corrode from the inside after decades, water heaters and outdoor fixtures wear faster in salt air, and older valves and supply lines fail without warning. The coastal environment is hard on plumbing, which is why so much of our work is on aging cast iron and corrosion.
